How this site was built
This website was designed, built and deployed in under three hours through a collaborative process between a developer and AI. The structure, layout, code and visual system were created interactively, with each step implemented and refined in real time.
The AI acted as a technical collaborator — proposing structure, generating working code, and helping iterate the design quickly — while the developer guided the direction, reviewed the results and made the final decisions.
The result is a clean, maintainable site built using a minimal stack and a practical workflow. The process demonstrates how AI can be used as a constructive development partner rather than simply an automation tool.
Approach
The site was created through an iterative collaboration between a developer and AI. Each step was implemented, tested and refined immediately before moving on to the next improvement.
- Define a clear structure for the company site.
- Build a minimal visual system based on typography and spacing.
- Implement the site using a modern but lightweight stack.
- Deploy and review the result in real time.
Technology
- Next.js (App Router)
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- Deployment on Vercel
Principles
The same principles used to build this site guide the work carried out by PC Data Services:
- Simple solutions first. Prefer the smallest system that reliably solves the problem.
- Clarity over complexity. Software should be easy to understand and maintain.
- Technology as a tool. AI is used to accelerate and support development, not replace thoughtful design.
Why this matters
When used responsibly, AI can significantly reduce development time while still producing high-quality outcomes. The key is combining automation with human judgement and experience.
This site itself is an example of the approach used by PC Data Services: practical tools, simple systems, and thoughtful use of modern technology.
